The National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) will be represented at House Convention-Princeton by The HLA Registry, a division of Community Blood Services.
The Registry will run a bone marrow drive to register potential bone marrow donors for lifesaving transplants at The Convention.
Community Blood Services has been serving the community's transfusion medicine needs for more than 50 years by collecting blood and platelet donations, registering bone marrow donors and operating The New Jersey Cord Blood Bank, which collects lifesaving umbilical cord blood stem cells from newborns.
Community Blood Services provides blood and blood products to more than 30 hospitals in New Jersey/New York, and offers a wide variety of programs and services that help save thousands of lives each year.
Community Blood Services is headquartered in Oradell, New jersey. In addition to running mobile blood drives throughout the region, it operates donor collection centers in Paramus and Lincoln Park, New Jersey, as well as in New Windsor and Warwick, New York.
We are happy to have their support and look forward to working with them now and throughout The Convention!
